Sergio has 19 years of urban forestry experience in the private and public sectors. His professional experience includes leading multiple forestry crews as head of the forestry department at an electrical utility company. During this time, Sergio trained personnel, coordinated tree work in and around energized power lines, and represented the company as a forestry specialist before environmental authorities. He also has considerable experience as a forestry guide, forestry engineer, and ecosystem restoration coordinator at the internationally renowned Botanical Garden of Bogota; Columbia’s largest botanical garden that serves as a recreation and research centre.
